At Altitude IT we are serious about being Green! So we have spent a lot of time researching how to make sure your eWaste does not end up as landfill. Here is how we do it!

Mobile Phone Recycling

Mobile Muster is where we send all your old mobile phones to. Not only do these guys recycle the phones but the quite often run campaigns to raise funds to donate to charities such as the Oxfam Unwrapped Program. Toner Recycling

We user Cartridge Rescue for our toner cartridge recycling. Cartridge Rescue are great in that they re-use the toner cartridges wherever possible. Anything they can’t re-use they recycle with third party recycling companies. They also run a fund raising program for our schools! Ink Recycling

We don’t currently use enough ink to have our own recycle process for the cartridges, so we collect the ink cartridges and take them up to our local Officeworks store. Officeworks partner with Cartridges for Planet Ark who then recycle them in a way that results in zero landfill. Hardware Recycling

All of your old hardware goes to a company called Beverich Holdings International. They are kind enough to come and collect the hardware from us and take it off for recycling. BHI evolved from a company primarily centred on recycling of plastic to one that has diversified its scope of products to include ferrous and non-ferrous metal, a huge range of eWaste, cardboard and paper, as well as providing a channel for resale of reusable product. If you want us to help take care of your eWaste, just keep your items at your office until the next time one of us are onsite and we will take it all off your hands for you or drop it off to our office – it is as easy as that.
